Msss Smart from Watford says:
I bought glasses from Asda aprox 4 years ago. They are still going strong & I use them for work so they get a real battering. I have since had two pairs from specsavers which are both knackered (one pair after a few weeks). And you get no customer service from specsavers. At Asda you get excellent customer service no matter how long you have had your glasses for. I need a new prescription so will be going out of my way to find an asda optician as there isnt one near me but its worth the travel time & petrol money by miles

Abdulla Faruque from Isle of Dogs says:
To James Smith, If you receive pension credit and want desginer pair of glasses then NHS will pay over over 64 pound towards them. The rest you would have to pay. However, I would not advise you to get biofocal on rimless unless your prescription is very small. To M. G. Crawford, Varifocal is 99 pound in ASDA there is no extra cost for diffrent prescription on each eye its all the same.

Bob Morton from says:
Bought my designer titanium glasses with strong/thin varifocal lenses plus spare pair with reading prescription about 2.5 years ago. Been very pleased and now going back for eye test and new designer glasses.

Jon Savage from York says:
I spent over £300 at a leading opticians and could only see through them if I looked stright ahead. I got my money back and went to Asda where I got some great modern glasses (with frames I had in the past been told I couldnt have because of my prescription?????)and they were and continue to be the best glasses I have ever had. The optician knew his stuff and the staff were a great help. I am more than happy with the service and helpfullness in the York branch and am going back shortly to get a second pair. WELL DONE ASDA.

AN ALL IN ONE PRICE AND COMPAIRED TO THE OPTICIANS IN THE HIGH STREET, THAT CHARGE AN ARM AND LEG FOR THERE DESIGNER VARIFOCAL THINNED DOWN LENSES. I WAS QUOTED OVER £500 FOR A PAIR IN THE HIGH ST.
