Asda Skills Academy is back for a fresh start

Anne Blyth, head of the Retail Training Team, would like you all to know about re-launch of the Asda Academy for 2012. If you’re looking to progress your career within the business our Asda Skills Academy is the perfect place to start. It allows you to learn new skills in a specially tailored training programme and earn a qualification from City and Guilds – all while doing your day job.

The Academy relaunches this month with a fresh new look and even more programmes. The new Asda Fresh Academy will allow colleagues who work on our Fresh departments – including Bakery, Fish, Meat or Produce – to take on challenging programmes to grow your knowledge, skills and experience in the field.

We also have brand new qualifications for section leaders and Home Shopping drivers and our existing programmes are still growing – creating opportunities for colleagues who didn’t have the chance to join the programme last year.
