Our star-studded Tickled Pink fundraising concert raises vital funds for a great cause
Thanks to all our colleagues and customers who supported our Tickled Pink Girls’ Night Out fundraising concert last week.
The concert, held at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in West London, featured some of the biggest names in the UK music industry and raised a fantastic amount of money for our supported charities – Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Campaign.
Hosted by presenters Miquita Oliver and Zoe Salmon, the concert included stunning performances by Breast Cancer Care Ambassador Alexandra Burke, who did an amazing exclusive performance of her brand new single Elephant, The Saturdays, Dionne Bromfield, Chipmunk and X-Factor winners Little Mix – in their largest live performance since the ITV show ended.
Alexandra Burke said: “It’s been such a great evening of music and entertainment all in aid of a really important cause. I’ve been a Breast Cancer Care Ambassador for a number of years now and am delighted to work with Asda in supporting its campaign and helping to continue the fantastic work they do to support breast cancer charities. A ‘Girls’ Night Out’ has never been more exciting or significant.”
Judith McKenna, our Chief Operating Officer, said: “Everyone who came to the Tickled Pink concert had an absolutely tremendous time.”
“What better way to support such important charities and celebrate both 15 years of fundraising and £25 million raised by Asda colleagues and shoppers to date.”
