We’ve had another crop of great photos over the last few days so here’s another gallery of the best.

Pauline Hand from Wrexham wanted to give a shout-out to the new friends she made at the colleague circle meeting. She says:
“It was a fantastic day at the mid-year colleague circle meeting. It was great to meet so many enthusiastic colleagues. The day went by so quickly, with a great feeling of good times ahead.”
On Tuesday 13th July, 50 colleagues from the Central Ops team spent the day at Bradford Pupil Referral Unit creating an ‘Interactive Outdoor Environment’ for the pupils.
Sleeper beds were made, flower beds planted, a wooden ‘story circle’ was created and a long path was implemented – all in one day!
The rain held off and it turned out to be a very fun and productive day.
The pupils and teachers are very pleased with their new outdoor area and look forward to enjoying it throughout this, (hopefully) very hot summer!
We also received a great message from Zoe’s Place Children’s Hospice, addressed to the staff at Teesport Depot. It read:
“We would like to say a big, big thank you to Asda’s loss prevention team for the work they did at Zoe’s Place Children’s Hospice. The work you did on the day was amazing. The team, with a few Teesport Depot colleagues, cleared two gardens which were overgrown with brambles, allowing these gardens to be used by the children’s families. Thank you guys! Good job, very well done.”

It’s great hearing that our local stores are doing so much good in their communities. If you’ve got a similar story to share, why not join in and upload your photos?
A more personal thank you has come in from Neal Mcintosh at ADC Wakefield:
“I’d like to say thanks to Kevin Parry at Ashton store, who found my wallet on the road outside of the store. It fell out of my pocket as I jumped out of my wagon whilst making my store delivery in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Kevin found my wallet and passed it to the next driver delivering to Ashton later that day. I received my wallet back at ADC Wakefield at the start of my next shift Thursday morning at 1.30am. Top work and thanks Kevin for going above and beyond the call of duty. Thanks.”
If you’ve also got stories, pictures, videos or anything else that you’d like to share with colleagues at Asda, we’d love to hear from you. Just click on the ‘Join In’ link on the right-hand side of any Green Room page to get in touch. We look forward to hearing from you!
