The Tour de France is coming to the UK and you could be part of it!

Volunteers

We’re gearing up to welcome the Tour de France to the UK by recruiting an army of Asda colleagues and customers.

As an official partner we’ll be recruiting, training and feeding up to 10,000 volunteers known as “Tour Makers”. We’ll also be providing the Tour Maker uniforms.

Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg launched the volunteer scheme today with gold medal-winning cyclist Malcolm Elliott.

We’re looking for volunteers to help at the following stages of the Yorkshire Grand Départ of the Tour de France 2014:

  • Leeds to Harrogate – 5th July
  • York to Sheffield – 6th July
  • Cambridge to London – 7th July

To apply simply register your details using this form – or this form if you’re not an Asda colleague. Make sure you get your application in by December 31st for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to part of this amazing event.
