Welcome to the Green Room page for

Cancer Research U.K rewarded by Asda customers Cancer Research U.K has received a donation of £200.00 from Asda Enniskillen, as part of its ‘Chosen by you... given by us’ initiative. The charity was one of three organisations that customers have been voting for over the past two months, by placing a token into a clear plastic box in the store’s new community area. Cancer Research U.K received the most votes and was today presented with the £200.00 donation from Asda colleagues. Asda Enniskillen’s store manager Michael Mc Fadden said: “The chosen by you given by us scheme reflects our commitment to supporting the local community. We’re thrilled to give Cancer Research U.K this donation and would like to thank everyone for taking part.” The £200.00 has been funded by the Asda Foundation, which was set up in 1988 to support local good causes chosen by Asda colleagues, and is funded by profits from the mid–week national lottery.
The 2014 beacon centre gardening project has no begun where we started planting our vegetables that we can use in the centre. It's fantastic to see the good weather.
Jones memorial school P7 class visited our Enniskillen store to use their World Book Day vouchers and when they were here we also did a Fairtrade walk and went on a hunt for the Fairtrade products which they thoroughly enjoyed.
Some of our colleagues and managers along with our Community Life Champion Simon Harron dressed up for our Tickled Pink Day in store. We have raised just over £600 so far for this great cause. Thank you for your continued support.
