Arnie is in the foster care of The Animal House Rescue waiting to be found a new loving home, we all hope he finds a family soon!!!
This is Harvey. Harvey was found on a canal towpath, he weighed only 11.7kg, he was dehydrated, cold, covered in pressure sores and every bone stuck out, they thought he was a brown dog until the filth was washed off him and they found he was actually Black! He couldnt stand up bacause his feet were in such a state, they were dressed with manuka honey. That was on 1st October, now Harvey is over 19 kilos, his feet are healing nicely and he is getting stronger by the day. All this is down to the amazing work and dedication of The Animal House Rescue. Harvey will eventually be found a loving home but sadly there will always be another Harvey who needs help so we would like to thank every one of our customers who always give so generously to this amazing charity!!!
Items donated to this trolley will be used to fill stockings and sent to wounded soldiers for christmas
We were invited to a presentation at Tipton Library, the theme was Lesser Known Heroes of the 1st world war and was absolutley fastinating. One of the Heroes we were told about was a local man named Harry Carter who joined up and eventually became Lietenant Colonel Harry Carter, an amazing story! His daughter was proud to be there on the day with the medals that Harry was awarded for his bravery and heroism!!!
