As part of my volunteering role over the summer holiday, I have been helping out at a Lunch Club for disadvantaged kids in the Onthank area of Kilmarnock. This group is supported by the local minister Susan Anderson who does a great deal for the area. It is well supported and everyone enjoys the friendly atmosphere.
This was a super day and all the kids enjoyed meeting the Provoust and Colin McCardle from West Sound who came along to present the cheque.
The local Provoust Jim Todd came along to the event and was activily involved in the hat making. This project was supported by Cash for Kids who gave a grant to the group .
