Asda North west London Doing what they do best! All the GSMs and community colleagues were mixed up and shared their ideas from their stores whilst they painted the inside of the community centre for the Lemarie centre in Watford
On Monday 22nd July Our Rom, Andrew Holmes and all the GSMs from stores, and all the community champions and the regional team, slipped on some old clothes and painted a local community Centre in Watford. The Lemarie Centre houses meeting space for local charities who regularly use the building for essential services in the local community including Mencap, Wheelchair dance association, Stroke association and many more. A lick of paint for the whole building and some hard graft on one of the hottest days of the year meant the paint dried quicker than normally. Mark Evans who runs the Centre was over the moon that Asda North west London ,could help revamp this building for the upcoming 50 year celebration and continued use by its users could now continue. Everyone participated and got stuck in and it looked wonderful in the end with nice bright walls and a good clean up. well done North West London!
